Lisa Rinna says she's being 'muzzled' by 'Karens' who want her fired from QVC
Lisa Rinna says she’s being silenced by QVC over her political beliefs.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, who has been selling her eponymous clothing line through the shopping channel since 2012, said on Instagram that she’s being “muzzled” after “Karens” — the term given to women who act entitled or demanding beyond what is considered appropriate — complained to the company about some of her social media posts.
“I am sad to report it would now seem I can’t use my platform to inform or question or say how I feel politically because the Karens have bombarded QVC begging them to fire me and saying they will no longer buy my clothes. It’s a shame I must be muzzled in order to support my family but that is just what it is. Remember you know how I feel. Use your voice and vote.”
However, Rinna — who has shown support for the Black Lives Matter movement and the LGBTQ community — later said “I have decided not to shut up. Ever.”
And she followed that up with a post spelling out where she stands on issues of women’s rights and climate change as well.
One critic wrote on Twitter that QVC is “NOT a platform for you to voice opinions. It’s a place to sell merchandise.”
@lisarinna hate to burst your bubble, but QVC is NOT a 'platform' for you to voice opinions. It's a place to sell merchandise. We don't CARE what your political views are!!!!!

But the campaign to get Rinna off QVC seems to have started earlier. In March, complaints were made over an Ash Wednesday comment she reportedly made — and that’s only part of the campaign to cancel her.
Others have been using social media to call her and her husband Harry Hamlin out for dressing as Sid and Nancy for Halloween in 2015 — with the Mad Men alum in a swastika T-shirt. (They apologized right after.) This critic said Rinna is “deviating from the real issue” and her support of Black Lives Matters “has nothing to do with our wanting Rinna fired.”
Rinna is deviating from the real issue. BLM has nothing to do with our wanting Rinna fired.

And some are pointing to a fight she had with Star Jones in 2011 in which Jones accused Rinna of harassing her.
Neither reps for Rinna nnor QVC have responded to Yahoo Entertainment about Rinna’s posts, but we will update this story if and when they do.
