Lea Michele Cradles Baby Bump in Turquoise Gown at 2024 Met Gala
Lea Michele was all smiles at the 2024 Met Gala on Monday (May 6) — especially because she has a baby on board!
The pregnant Glee actress walked onto the green-splashed white carpet at the Metropolitan Museum of Art dressed in a flowing, turquoise Rodarte gown, complete with a white floral strap and a tulle shawl, perfectly capturing the “Garden of Time” dress code. The whimsical dress code is inspired by a 1962 J.G. Ballard short story of the same name. In the photos, she’s seen smiling wide as she cradled her baby bump.

The 37-year-old Broadway star, who is married to businessman Zandy Reich, revealed that she’s pregnant with her second baby back in March. In the pictures, Michele — who is already Mom to 3-year-old son Ever Leo — poses with a silky white shawl draped over her shoulders, cradling her baby bump as it peeks through the fabric. “Mommy, Daddy and Ever are overjoyed,” she captioned the post.
Their news of baby No. 2 comes about seven months after the actress wrapped up her tenure as Fanny Brice in the Broadway revival of Funny Girl, in which she starred alongside Ramin Karimloo.
This year’s Met Gala exhibit theme, Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion, is set to feature 250 items from the Costume Institute’s permanent collection.
