Kylie Jenner Wants to 'Be Out of the Spotlight' Until Baby's Birth: Source
Kylie Jenner hasn’t been around — as pregnant sister Khloé Kardashian has duly noted by calling her the new Rob Kardashian — and there’s a specific reason why.
“Kylie wants to disappear and be out of the spotlight and focus on her health and happiness,” a source close to the KarJenner family tells PEOPLE about Jenner, who is expecting her first child — a girl — with rapper boyfriend Travis Scott in February.
“Kylie isn’t going to publicly address her pregnancy until she gives birth. She’s not doing any public appearances and just wanted to take six months off,” says the source, who added that the 20-year-old Keeping Up with the Kardashians reality star’s “baby shower was organized just five days before it happened.”

Since her pregnancy was confirmed nearly two months ago in September, Jenner has largely remained out of the spotlight with the intentions of having it stay that way for a while.
“Kylie is only trusting her closest friends and her sisters right now. She wants to reveal things on her own terms but she’s, of course, having fun teasing everyone. She knows all the attention is on her and her baby bump, but she won’t share until she wants to,” an insider close to the Lip Kit entrepreneur recently told PEOPLE.
While the mother-to-be used to document her every move for fans on Snapchat, flooding our Instagram feeds with bikini and lingerie shots, she’s remained completely under the radar lately — rarely emerging in public and using her social media platforms mostly to promote her brand, Kylie Cosmetics.
On Monday, she shared three rare new selfies that all were carefully cropped close-ups of her face, nuzzling into a chunky black turtleneck.
