Kevin Bacon told to tone down the PDA by wife Kyra Sedgwick while working together
Kevin Bacon dropped by The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, where he discussed working with his wife Kyra Sedgwick on the new Showtime series City on the Hill. Bacon produces and performs in the series, while Sedgwick directed some of the episodes.
Bacon got candid about how the entertainment work environment has significantly changed since the #MeToo movement. He said, “We're very affectionate people, you know, and we had a very serious sexual harassment meeting at the beginning of our season and I think in this day and age people, in general, are trying to be less handsy.”
Bacon admitted it is hard not showing too much affection to his wife of over 30 years. In fact, he even had to be reprimanded by Sedgwick on set one day. “She said to me once, “Please don't touch me there, you know, while we're working,” explained Bacon.
The Late Show With Stephen Colbert airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. on CBS.
