Kerry Washington Gives Sheer Trend a Rose Gold Twist in Pearl-embellished Armani Privé Gown for 2025 SAG Awards Red Carpet
Kerry Washington was dripping in pearls at the 2025 Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday. The actress wore a custom Giorgio Armani Privé gown, featuring a high neck, long sleeves and a floor-grazing hem.
The top of Washington’s dress was made of semi-sheer lace that covered Washington from her wrists up to the top of her neck. The bottom of it included a silk trumpet skirt. The entire ensemble was covered in a pearl-encrusted sheer fabric. She wore a crush of silver rings on her fingers, styled by Mariel Haenn and Rob Zangardi.

Washington wore her hair curled and styled with a lot of volume by hairstylist Takisha Sturdivant-Drew.
This is the latest look on a weekend full of events for Washington. On Friday, she was at the NAACP Image Awards Creative Honors, where she wore a black dress from Christopher John Rogers featuring a vibrant floral print. She has worn the designer on multiple occasions, including at the Paley Honors Gala and a screening of “Scandal” co-star Tony Goldwyn’s film “Ezra.”
On Saturday, Washington picked up trophies at the 2025 NAACP Image Awards wearing a Prada look. That outfit included a bandeau top and maxi skirt featuring 3D florals.
The 2025 Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards, held on Sunday at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles and hosted by Kristen Bell, honor the best performances in film and TV from 2024. “Shōgun” and “Wicked” lead the nominees with five nods each. Jane Fonda will receive the Life Achievement Award. This year, particular attention will be given to the Screen Actors Guild Foundation’s Disaster Relief Fund to support members affected by the Los Angeles wildfires.
