Kenya Fumes Over Kim’s Unreasonable Brunch Request on ‘RHoA’

On The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kim Fields invited the ladies over for what she called a “beatless” brunch. Urban Dictionary defines a “beat face” as “when the makeup applied to a person’s face is so powerful and amazing that it makes them look truly stunning.” You read that right: Kim asked her fellow Housewives to leave their houses bare-faced and travel to her house, risking being seen makeup-free in public in Atlanta. Since it was Kim’s idea, she didn’t wear makeup. In fact, only Sheree truly complied. Kandi and Phaedra each applied “a light beat,” while Porsha showed up apologetically in full face having just come from work. But Kenya was not having it. She was aghast at the very request and complained in Kandi’s truck the whole way there. She did her best to remain moderately polite but was unable to hide it until she and Kim finally exchanged words. They came to a simmer rather than a full boil, but it was clear we will not be seeing the former Miss Michigan Kenya Moore “beatless” any time soon.
