Katherine Schwarzenegger and Chris Pratt just welcomed their third child together! Despite many thinking their third child would be a girl, especially after their pink-themed party, they’ve welcomed a son, who has a very Presidential name!

They shared the news with the caption reading, “We are overjoyed to announce the birth of our son, Ford Fitzgerald Schwarzenegger Pratt. Mama and baby are doing well and Ford’s siblings are thrilled by his arrival. We feel so blessed and grateful. Love, Katherine and Chris.”
Now, this strong name may actually have a sweet meaning behind it. Many in the comments were wondering who he was named after, and then many realized: her great uncle, former President John Fitzgerald Kennedy.
And for those wondering, Ford is English for “dweller at the ford,” and Fitzgerald is Irish and Scottish, meaning “son of Gerald.” Talk about a cool, strong name!
For those who don’t know, before they welcomed Ford, Schwarzenegger and her husband Pratt welcomed two daughters together named Lyla Maria, born in Aug 2020, and Eloise Christina, born in May 2022. (Pratt also has a son named Jack, born on Aug 2012, with his ex-wife Anna Faris.)
In a previous interview with SheKnows, Schwarzenegger talked about how she stays grounded and how she ensures her parenting style stays true to her.
“I think really staying true to how you want to raise your children, how you want to raise your family, what you want to do as a parent is so important and to not get caught up in people’s silly criticism of your choices,” she said.
