Kate Hudson Makes Eyebrow-Raising Confession About Her Brief Romance With Nick Jonas
Kate Hudson recently volunteered new information about her long-rumored romance years ago with Nick Jonas.
The actress was asked to confront those rumors from 2015 and 2016 during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Wednesday, July 17. While teeing up questions during the show’s “Plead the Fifth” segment, host Andy Cohen mentioned the whispers surrounding Hudson and Jonas nearly one decade ago.
The Hudson-Jonas dating rumors began in the fall of 2015 when the two spent time together at Disney World. On Wednesday, Cohen noted that the How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days star dodged inquiries about herself and the “Jealous” singer during a previous appearance on his show.
When Cohen asked Hudson, now 45, to provide information and characterize that “relationship,” she laughed before answering, her earlier dodge from years prior seemingly forgotten. She described her time with Jonas, now 31, as “a moment.” She called him “lovely,” “fun” and “kind” before explaining that he is “like an old man in a young man’s body.”

While the Almost Famous actress had up until this week avoided questions about her brief romance with Jonas, the Disney Channel alum described her in a 2016 interview with Complex as “incredible,” telling the magazine that the two “had an unbelievable connection as two humans who just admire things about each other, and see something in each other that’s beautiful.”
A couple of years after the dating rumors died down, the Jonas Brothers member had found new love with Priyanka Chopra, now 42. The two married in 2018 and welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Malti Marie, in the spring of 2022.
Hudson meanwhile began dating musician Danny Fujikawa in late 2016. They welcomed a child together, daughter Rani Rose, in October 2018 and got engaged in 2021.
