Kaskade Will Replace Ti?sto as the First In-Game Super Bowl DJ
Kaskade will now be the official DJ for the Super Bowl.
Hours after Ti?sto announced that he will step away from his DJ duties at this year’s Super Bowl due to a family emergency, Rolling Stone learned that Kaskade will now become the first-ever in-game DJ at the big event.

“As a kid who grew up in Chicago watching the Super Bowl every year with my family, this chance to actually be part of it is absolutely mind-blowing,” he said in a statement. “Las Vegas has been my second home for the past decade, as an architect of creating a landscape that includes House and Dance Music residencies as part of its destination.”

“To be able to be the first Electronic Musician to be part of the full game experience of the Super Bowl held in Las Vegas seems like coming home,” he added. “I’m beyond excited to represent my community.”
Kaskade is credited with being the first DJ to secure an exclusive Las Vegas residency back in 2010. He currently headlines Resorts World Las Vegas’ Zouk Nightclub and Ayu Dayclub with upcoming shows scheduled on Feb. 10 and Feb. 24, and through late September.
The NFL originally announced that Ti?sto would be the first DJ during the Super Bowl, but he announced Thursday that he’d have to pull out of the gig due to a family emergency. He also canceled shows scheduled this week in Brooklyn.
“Me and my team have been preparing something truly special for months, but a personal family emergency is forcing me to return home Sunday morning,” Ti?sto posted on X. “It was a tough decision to miss the game, but family always comes first.”

Super Bowl LVIII will take place at Allegiant Stadium, not too far from the pulsing heart of Las Vegas, where the likes of Zedd, lllenium, the Chainsmokers, Alesso, and more are scheduled to perform this weekend at various clubs and venues. The Kansas City Chiefs will play the San Francisco 49ers.
