Kardashian 'momager' Kris Jenner reveals how much her daughters make for social media posts
Offers for the Kardashian and Jenner sisters to advertise products on social media just keep on coming.
Momager Kris Jenner — she’s officially trademarked the term — revealed in an interview on the upcoming episode of CBS Sunday Morning that posts from daughters Kim, Kourtney, Khloé, Kendall and Kylie continue to bring in big bucks.
“My daughters are constantly getting offers to post something for a company, or a brand, on social media,” Jenner said. “So they’re – they have a fee for a post, or a fee for a story, a fee for Facebook, a fee for — you know — they have a fee schedule.”
An endorsement from any of the stars of Keeping Up With the Kardashians is expensive.
“I mean, it’s definitely six figures. And sometimes, if it’s Kim, or if it’s Kylie, it depends on what it really is,” Jenner said.
Companies have to be willing to pay more for a certain kind of product.
“A pharmaceutical product, if it’s something that you’re going to drink, or ingest, or put on your body,” an endorsement costs more, Jenner noted.
The sisters regularly advertise for products such as vitamins or teas promising a flat stomach — which don’t always go over well.
Instagram analysts HopperHQ ranked Kylie at the top of its list of celebrities who can charge the most for a social media post. They estimated a post from her is worth $1 million. Several of the sisters ranked further down on the list, including Kim in fourth place ($720,000 per post) and Kendall in 10th place ($500,000 per post).
Jenner is still very much involved in her daughter’s lives, both personally and professionally, but she says she’s no longer in touch with her ex, who formerly identified as Bruce Jenner and has lived as Caitlyn Jenner since April 2015.
The two were married in April 1991 and their divorce became legal in March 2015. They are parents to adult daughters Kendall and Kylie, and they understandably have a complicated relationship.
“I don’t, no, I don’t,” Jenner says when asked if she talks to Caitlyn. “The kids do. Yeah, the kids are good.”
