Juvenile Celebrates ‘400 Degreez’ Anniversary With New Music Video
Juvenile has dropped a new music video, but the song is a decades old fan-favorite.
The Louisiana native shared the official visuals for “400 Degreez,” the title track from his top-selling album in celebration of its 25th anniversary.
A written message at the beginning of the video, directed by Diesel Filmz, reflects on the career landmark. The visual ends with clips from throughout the New Orleans musician’s longstanding career.
“On November 3, 1998, Juvenile released his third studio album 400 Degreez,” the message reads. “The album went on to be certified 4x Platinum, having sold over 4 million copies. This groundbreaking album remains Juvenile’s bestselling project of his solo career. This visual is a celebration of the 25th anniversary of this monumental achievement.”
The music video continues to feature Juvenile and Mannie Fresh both relishing in their prime and proving they still have what it takes to dominate the Hip-Hop scene.
“I made music I hoped would connect with the culture, the kids, and the ladies and that worked. From how we dressed to our attitudes, it all lasted forever,” the 49-year-old reflected in a 2023 interview with The Tennessean. “Make party songs for the women and the men will follow,” he laughed.
With production from Mannie Fresh, the 18-track album features Big Tymers, Lil Wayne, Hot Boys, JAY-Z, and more. Watch the “400 Degreez” music video above and check out the 400 Degreez album below.
