Jimmy Kimmel Says Taylor Swift DJ’d Star-Studded Party He Attended at Paul McCartney’s House
While Taylor Swift's talent for writing and singing her own music is well known at this point, it appears that she also has a talent for curating other artists' music to make a stellar party playlist.
Jimmy Kimmel recently recounted his experience attending a party at Paul McCartney's house that featured Swift as the DJ, telling Howard Stern about how he and his wife, Molly McNearney, ended up in the surprising situation.
He explained that they tagged along with a friend to the star-studded bash, which, by Kimmel's estimate, included around 100 guests. Talking about Swift's DJ role, Kimmel clarified that it wasn't a paid gig, but instead, she "had her iPhone, and she kinda tapped into the house system... it wasn’t like she was hired to work there.”
Despite that, it seemed like Swift did a good job, as Kimmel recalled his wife Molly and others dancing in McCartney's kitchen. The Jimmy Kimmel Live! star also confirmed that Travis Kelce was there, with Molly saying that he's "very good-looking."
Other guests mentioned by Kimmel and his wife were Bruce Springsteen, Ringo Starr, Steven Spielberg and his wife Kate Capshaw, Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox.
Kimmel shared more details about the "craziest party I've ever been to in my whole life" when Austin Butler appeared on his show, with the Elvis actor commenting on Swift's DJ skills, causing the audience to cheer.
"'Cause she's not working enough, she's gotta work at the party," joked Kimmel, referring to Swift's busy schedule as she finishes her Eras Tour this year and embarks on other projects.
Kimmel and Butler didn't share any further details about Swift's presence at the envy-inducing party, and it's unclear when exactly it took place. Swift and McCartney have reportedly been friends for a long time now and the Beatles member went to see the "Fortnight" singer during her Eras Tour stop in London.
