Jim Jones Addresses Cam’ron’s Claim He’s Not From Harlem In New Song Snippet
Jim Jones has teased another portion of his response to Cam’ron’s lengthy rant.
On Thursday (Jan. 16), Capo uploaded a post to his Instagram with a video of himself vibing to the track now titled “JOMO.” “BIG JOMO u know the rest, New single JOMO (Jump Off My AYOO), AlBUM ready At The Church Steps,” the caption read. Jim Jones can be seen in the clip with various other men as he spits more bars from the forthcoming track, making veiled threats in the process.
“Is he a Bronx, is he a Harlem ni**a?” Jones could be heard saying. “F**k all that, tell me what’s the problem, ni**a/I’m too thorough/I move through/my crew thorough/let me ask you a question because I’m a legend up in two Burroughs.”
As the song continues, Jim then warns Cam or any of his naysayers to “Keep playing, my young boys will burn the earth down for me,” while making gun hand gestures.
In a couple of posts prior, Capo also announced that he would be dropping a remix to his track “That Sh!t Still in Harlem,” featuring rappers from NYC, including Juelz Santana, Dave East, and more. Another IG post found Jones declaring that he would “Make Dipset Great Again,” with a picture showing a mock-up hat design that directly references Donald Trump’s infamous slogan and cap.

Curious enough, the collectible pins feature a slogan that reads, “I said what I said,” seemingly alluding to his stance on his back-and-forth with Killah, which he referred to in his initial post showing his track aimed at Cam.
Jim Jones’ flurry of posts are responses to Cam’ron’s lengthy rant from an episode of It Is What It Is. The Purple Haze emcee addressed Jimmy and their shared history, explaining how Jones became a part of the crew and how the “Ballin'” rapper is actually from the Bronx, not Harlem. Killah stated that the rant would be his final time speaking on the matter.
“You were fanned out and you begged ni**as to come to your house after you heard all these mixtapes. That’s how you got in, ni**a,” Cam declared.

“We taught you how to rap, ni**a. How you ran the whole organization? How you made Diplomats? Ni**a, you ain’t made none of this! You were a fan. I put you down ’cause you had a free crib and you were a nice guy… You’re a guardian angel in designer, ni**a. You are from the Bronx, bro. You are not from Harlem. I did not grow up with you, my ni**a.”
Jones would respond to this claim with a bar in his forthcoming track, rapping, “When ni**as play with your name, remind ’em who you are” and “So what more you wanna ask him? You ni**as taught me how to rap, and now I’m platinum.”
