Jessica Chastain Glitters in Embellished Gucci Dress at American Cinematheque Awards
Jessica Chastain brought a bit of sparkle to the red carpet at the American Cinematheque Awards in Beverly Hills on Friday, where the Oscar-winning actress was honored for her illustrious career in the film industry.
Chastain selected a black high-neck Gucci gown with crystal embellishments, designed by the label’s new creative director, Sabato de Sarno. She accessorized with diamond Damiani jewelry, including ear cuffs and a wraparound bracelet.

The “Mothers’ Instinct” star was styled by Elizabeth Stewart, who also counts Cate Blanchett and Amanda Seyfried as clients.
Makeup artist Hung Vanngo gave Chastain a ’60s-inspired look consisting of a cut crease, winged eyeliner and rosy blush, while hairdresser Renato Campora styled her auburn tresses in a retro half-updo.
“As I stand here tonight, I am mindful of the state of the world, our country, our politics and the misogyny that persists. So many women are still taught to find their worth in roles defined by men,” Chastain said in her speech. “I am so proud to be part of an industry that is really evolving. Today, films show girls that they don’t need a prince to save them, they can save the day themselves.”
On Monday, Chastain also wore Gucci at the Gotham Awards in New York, which marked the beginning of awards season. She selected a backless ribbed halter gown, pairing it with sky-high metallic platforms.
Chastain has long been associated with the Italian fashion house, fronting campaigns for the brand’s 25H watch and their third Hortus Deliciarum jewelry collection in 2022.
