Jerry O’Connell Watches ‘Live With Kelly and Ryan’ Every Day ‘Like a Weird Ex’

After recently being passed over for the job of Live With Kelly co-host in favor of Ryan Seacrest, Jerry O’Connell swears he’s OK about it. He stopped by the KTLA Morning News in Los Angeles to talk about getting behind the camera for an episode of Andi Mack on the Disney Channel, and host Sam Rubin asked him about his recent stint on Live and how it feels to see someone else in the co-host seat.

“Like a weird ex, I watch them every morning,” he said. “It’s like you wanna check your ex’s Facebook page, let’s see what they’re up to. You’re seeing someone else, OK. Status, in a relationship.” O’Connell said he had a lot of fun co-hosting the show and loved working with Kelly, but also added that he thinks Ryan is a great guy and a great choice.
