Jennifer Lopez Didn't Miss Ben Affleck's Birthday But She Did Send Him a Subtle Instagram Message
Ben Affleck celebrated his 52nd birthday on Aug. 15, but fans wouldn’t know it judging from Jennifer Lopez’s Instagram page. The 55-year-old superstar decided to give her followers a stunning carousel of glamorous snapshots in a chic Dior outfit on Affleck’s big day — which might have been a subtle message for him.
The sheer, nude outfit with sparkling silver flowers and a black sash from the designer showed off her fit physique. She pulled her hair back in a sleek high ponytail with diamond chandelier earrings and her signature J.Lo glow for makeup — she looked gorgeous! The confidence that Lopez wore on the outside seemed to radiate from the inside. Perhaps she was telling Affleck that she was doing just fine despite their summer away from each other.

While the estranged couple didn’t enjoy a romantic dinner together, Page Six spotted Lopez paying Affleck a visit at his rental home in Brentwood. She kept it casual with jeans, a tan cropped jacket, and that high ponytail, but she didn’t seem to be going all-out for his birthday — no presents or cake — sorry, Ben. That possible snub isn’t that big of a deal, though, because Affleck didn’t attend Lopez’s Bridgerton-themed party on July 24. He was busy closing escrow on a $20.5 million home for himself which seemed to confirm that the couple was “focused on their separate lives.”
This summer, Affleck and Lopez spent the entire summer away from each other — she was in the Hamptons, and he was in LA. “Ben continues to live at the Brentwood rental. He’s been there for about two months now,” an insider told People in July. “He seems okay. He’s been at his office every day and seems focused on work. He’s also spending time with his kids.”
Their time apart has led some of Lopez’s inner circle to breathe a sigh of relief. It seems that important people in her life, including Leah Remini and manager Benny Medina, didn’t love how Affleck treated their friend. Remini believes that Lopez’s husband was “selfish and not fully committed as a partner” while Medina had “bad blood” with Affleck, per Page Six. So, while Lopez might be teasing how good she looks on her Instagram page, everyone around them seems to think they are better apart than together.
