Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck spotted together for 1st time since divorce news
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez were photographed together for the first time since she filed for divorce last month.
Affleck and Lopez, who were married for two years, were spotted in Los Angeles on Sept. 14 where the former couple were photographed together standing outside of an SUV.
Lopez wore a black cropped turtleneck sweater with a pair of dark blue flared jeans. She accessorized with a brown and black shoulder bag and a pair of aviator sunglasses.
Affleck donned a blue button down shirt and and jeans, opting for sneakers and a pair of dark aviator glasses.
They were spotted together with their kids at the Beverly Hills hotel in LA. Lopez shares 16-year-old twins, Max and Emme, with ex-husband Marc Anthony. Affleck shares three kids, Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12, with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
This outing marks the first time Affleck and Lopez were spotted together since the singer filed for divorce on Aug. 20 after two years of marriage.
The date also marked the anniversary of the former couple’s second wedding in Georgia.
In the weeks after filing for divorce, Lopez has resumed posting on social media, with her first post back featuring a pickleball outing in a joint post with her cocktail company, Delola, on Aug. 30.
The following day, Lopez marked the end of summer with a new post on Aug. 31, posting a carousel of images on Instagram to round out August.
Among photos of herself, she also shared several messages within the post, including a slide that read, “Everything is unfolding in divine order.”
In another frame, she shared a photo of a shirt that had the message “she’s in bloom and unbothered out of reach and at peace” printed on the chest.
On Sept. 6, Lopez also made her first public appearance since her split while promoting her movie, “Unstoppable,” which was produced by Affleck.
Lopez appeared at the film’s premiere at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival where she donned a silver Tamara Ralph dress featuring black downs down the sides.
While Affleck did not attend the premiere, Lopez was photographed with her co-stars including Bobby Cannavale, Jharrel Jerome, Don Cheadle, and Matt Damon, who also serves as a producer.
