Jennifer Garner & Ben Affleck Got Fans Talking with This Recent, Non-Family-Oriented Outing
Exes Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have been hanging out a lot more towards the end of 2024, including at Thanksgiving, and it’s got fans talking. About what, you may ask? How friendly of exes they are, of how she’s allegedly been helping him through his divorce with Jennifer Lopez, and of course, the reconciliation rumors, despite Garner being in a long-term relationship with businessman John Miller. Besides, all of their outings have been as a family with their three kids, until now.
In photos obtained by Page Six, we can see that Garner and Affleck were driving around Brentwood, Calif together. Before that, Garner was spotted grabbing some bagels before heading to Affleck’s house, without their three kids seen in any photographs.

Now, obviously the internet has been talking about this nonstop since these photos came out, and these photos may prove something sources said awhile back.
Back in Sept 2022, insiders told InTouch Weekly that Garner has visited Affleck so much to allegedly make sure he doesn’t fall back into old habits. “That’s the main reason you’re seeing Jen going over there nearly every day to make sure he’s okay. His mother, his brother and his close friends, like Matt Damon, are helping out too,” they said.
So, truly, they are just super-close (and are even planning a co-parenting Christmas together).
For those who don’t know, Affleck and Garner met in 2000 while filming Pearl Harbour, while Affleck was engaged to Lopez and Garner was married to Scott Foley. Their romantic relationship didn’t begin until 2004, and then they married in Turks and Caicos in June 2005. They later welcomed three children: Violet Anne Affleck, 18, Seraphina Rose Elizabeth Affleck, 15, and Samuel Garner Affleck, 12.
The couple officially filed for divorce in 2017, and in 2018, they finalized their divorce.
An In Touch Weekly source divulged that Garner and Affleck have always been close, even during his marriage to Lopez. “Even when he was married to J. Lo he’d got to Jen for her advice, which as you can imagine did not do his marriage any favors,” they said. “But now he’s single again and free to talk to her 10 times a day if he wants, and there are days he does,” they added.
