Jenna Jameson’s wife Jessi Lawless files for divorce, blames former porn star’s alleged drinking
Former porn star Jenna Jameson’s wife, Jessi Lawless, has filed an annulment to end their union after less than a year of marriage.
Lawless, an influencer and a retired hairstylist, posted an emotional TikTok on Tuesday, telling fans, “There are a lot of rumors going around that Jenna and I are getting a divorce, and I’m making this video to confirm that.”
The estranged couple tied the knot on May 23 in an intimate Las Vegas ceremony at Little Church of the West. Jameson’s agent told The Post at the time, “Jenna’s relationship is different with Jessi because women understand women, and Jenna feels completely at ease and peace with Jessi. She is able to be herself around her.”
Lawless, 41, claimed Tuesday that she drew a “hard line” on 50-year-old Jameson’s alleged drinking since the beginning of their relationship because alcohol led to “so many problems” in the former porn star’s life, but Jameson allegedly betrayed her by drinking during a solo trip to Chicago.
“This is the first time she’s gone to an event without me since we’ve been married. This is the first time she’s been away from me. I’ve been keeping her on the straight and narrow,” Lawless said.
“She goes to Chicago, and she starts drinking. And then when I confronted her about it, she was definitely trying to lie about it until I told her … that people have sent me pictures of you with champagne in your hand.
“She admitted it, obviously,” Lawless claimed. “I didn’t even really have the pictures, I just told her I did. I knew she was drinking.”
Lawless claimed Jameson has “no remorse” for her actions and tried to put the blame on her.
“She told me point-blank, ‘I’m not sorry. I don’t feel sorry,'” Lawless said of Jameson. “I’m crying, literally tears running down my face, begging for some sort of remorse from her. And she had none. She just wanted to turn it around and blame me.
“I don’t know how it’s my fault, but maybe I shouldn’t have had such high expectations,” Lawless quipped.
She added that she filed for an annulment, which “shouldn’t take long to finalize.”
“I’m sure you’ll see this, Jenna,” Lawless concluded. “I love you with all of my heart, and I really hope the best for you.”
A rep for Jameson told The Post that she did not want to address “specifics of her marriage at this time,” but offered up a statement regarding the journey of sobriety.
“Research has shown that empathy and understanding are better responses to addiction than judgement, shaming, and moralizing,” the statement reads. “Expressing your unconditional love and support may be one of the kindest things you can do. Let them know that you are there for them—relapse or not, ten days sober or 200.”
“Unfortunately, in the past, due to cultural attitudes surrounding addiction, tactics such as shaming, humiliating, shouting and ‘attack therapy’ were commonplace. “Currently, rehab centers recognize that this approach would constitute malpractice and would have no place in the delicate process of treatment. It is much more likely that clients will experience greater success when empathy is placed at the forefront of the client care process,” Jameson’s statement concluded.
Shortly after the TikTok, Lawless also posted a screenshot of texts allegedly between her and Jameson in which Jameson claimed Lawless was “building a huge case for me to sue you, babe.”
“As if you have the money or energy for that,” Lawless shot back.
“… You won’t spend the money to be in your children’s life, but you will spend the money to ruin mine?” Lawless asked in another text. “Wow. Nice Jenna.”
Fans quickly flocked to Jameson’s Instagram after Lawless’ updates. One fan commented on a photo of Jameson in Chicago, asking, “Are you ok?”
“Nope,” Jameson replied.
This was Jameson’s third marriage. She was married to “The King of Porn” Brad Armstrong from 1996 to 2001 and former porn actor Jay Grdina from 2003 to 2006.
She has 15-year-old twin sons Journey and Jesse with UFC icon Tito Ortiz, as well as 7-year-old daughter Batel with former fiancé and Israeli businessman Lior Bitton.
