Jenna Bush Hager Announces Major Family News
Jenna Bush Hager is one proud aunt!
Earlier in the week, the Today co-host revealed her fraternal twin sister, Barbara Pierce Bush, and her brother-in-law, Craig Coyne, had grown their family and welcomed a second child.
The 42-year-old media personality and author took to Instagram on Monday with a trio of photos announcing her family's new addition, noting her sister is now the mom to an adorable baby boy.
"My sissy had a little mister," Jenna began in the short caption of her Aug. 5 upload before going on to reveal the baby's name. "And I fell madly in love with Edward Finn! ??????."
The first of three photos showed Jenna holding the newborn–who seemed very content wearing a knit cap branded with an NYU Langone Hospital logo–in one hand and a bottle in the other. A second image captured Jenna snuggling with her sister and little Edward in bed, while the final photo was a solo snap of the baby swaddled in a blanket as Barbara, also 42, held him close to her.
Jenna didn't share any further details about the baby, like his birthday, but both he and his mom appeared to be doing well in the photos.
Fans of the family wasted no time celebrating the exciting new addition, with countless taking to the comments with sweet messages for both the new mom and doting aunt.
"Being an aunt is just as special as being a mom. I play both roles as well," one wrote before signing off with a "Congratulations!"
"Congratulations to Barbara and her husband. Another blessed grand baby for George and Laura to spoil!! ??," a second quipped.
Also among those celebrating was Jenna's fellow Today personality and author Savannah Guthrie, who exclaimed: "THIS IS SO EXCITING!!!!!!!"
"Welcome sweet Edward!! ????," cheered the official Today account.
"?? sweetest little new cuzzie," added Lauren Bush Lauren.
Along with Edward, Barbara and her husband also share a soon-to-be 3-year-old daughter named Cora, who celebrates her birthday in September.
