Jenelle Evans gives different story behind disturbing 911 call
On Monday’s episode of Teen Mom 2, Jenelle Evans explained a disturbing call she made to 911 in October. The reality star placed an emergency call claiming that her husband, David Eason, had violently assaulted her. But since then, she has changed her tune.
During the 911 call, Jenelle told the operator, “[David] pinned me down on the ground … and I think I heard my f***ing collarbone crack. ” She later added, “He’s been drinking, and I think that he got violent because he was drinking.”
When Jenelle met with her mother, Barbara Evans, she said that the assault claim was a misunderstanding. Jenelle said she had been drinking and was upset with David for not answering his phone while he was out. Once David returned home, Jenelle said, “I was like basically running towards him cussing, and then I tripped over this frickin’ hole. Well, he saw that I tripped, and he went to go catch me, and then he fell too. So we both fell, and when we fell, he fell on top of me.”
Jenelle went on to say, “When we got back up, I was crying, I was screaming, I was mad. I was like, ‘You put me down on purpose!’ He’s like, ‘No, I didn’t!’ I said, ‘Yes, you did!’ So it was like a big drunk misunderstanding — on my part.”
Upon hearing her daughter’s explanation that the whole matter was a misunderstanding, Barbara said, “I know, but it was, like, heartbreaking.“
Teen Mom 2 airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on MTV.
