Jelly Roll's Wife Bunnie XO Makes a Blunt Confession About Weight Loss Medication

Bunnie XO opened up about her still-new experience using weight loss medication during a recent episode of her podcast.

The Dumb Blonde host revealed in an episode that was released on Friday, Oct. 4, that she recently began taking Tirzepatide, a medication that is used for treatment of type 2 diabetes and for weight loss. She joins a long list of celebrities who have shared their experiences in recent months with using medication to reach their weight loss goals.

In the episode, the podcaster said that she was only two days into using the medication, which she had some hesitation about using.

“I was so scared to take it,” Jelly Roll’s wife said before explaining that she previously overdosed on Vitamin B12 and Vitamin D. “I was so scared to take it that I had nightmares the day before.”

Prior to starting her weight loss medication journey, Bunnie XO said she “had nothing in my body,” adding, “For me to even decide to take Tirzepatide is a huge decision.”

In addition to the nightmares she experienced, Bunnie XO said she’d come across several videos on TikTok warning about the medication’s potential side effects, which only added to her uncertainty.

With her concern in mind, Bunnie XO decided to start “microdosing” the medication rather than take it “at a normal level.” She then added that she is “so glad” she made that decision, as she has already experienced nausea, upset stomach and a spike in appetite.

“I woke up a pound and a half lighter though, but man—I can eat,” she said. “I’m starving right now.”

Though Bunnie XO said the side effects “kind of sent me for a loop” on her first night taking the medication, she did not seem ready to stop using it just yet. “We’ll see how it goes from here,” she said.
