Jelly Roll is showing his versatility!
On Saturday, Aug. 17, the musician, 39, performed an intimate concert at Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett, New York, for SiriusXM. During the show, he brought out known songs from his catalog, as well as covers of hits from across the genres to be enjoyed by subscribers and VIP guests.
The exclusive event kicked off with an introduction by the co-hosts of the SmartLess podcast, Jason Bateman, Will Arnett and Sean Hayes, who did a live taping of their upcoming episode with Howard Stern at the venue prior to the concert.
"Thank you guys for coming out tonight," Arnett, 54, said to the rambunctious crowd. "Right now, we are so excited to be part of this and here with you all with SiriusXM. Tonight's performer is an incredible, incredible performer. He is a husband, he is a father, he is a philanthropist, he is a Grammy-nominated artist, he's a CMA award winner."
"He’s performed in front of sold-out crowds, setting records at music festivals across the country. We are so excited to have him tonight. He’s about the kick off his tour, The Beautifully Broken Tour, releasing a new album very soon," Hayes, 54, added, before Bateman, 55, welcomed the singer to the stage.
Jelly Roll entered wearing a black T-shirt layered under a short-sleeved black and red ombré button-up shirt. He paired the shirts with black jeans and a red hat, which he styled backwards. He opened the show with his hit single "Halfway to Heaven" from his latest studio album, Whitsitt Chapel. Stern, who was also in attendance, could be seen nodding his head along to the song from the VIP section.
Jelly Roll then went on to perform "Son of the Dirty South," a track he originally recorded with Brantley Gilbert for the deluxe version of the compilation album Soundtrack to Summer 2022.

While introducing his latest hit "I Am Not Okay" — which is the first single from his unnamed upcoming album — he said, "If one song describes what I do, this is it."
Throughout the evening, Jelly Roll also performed "Liar" and "Need a Favor," as well as covers of the popular songs "Lose Yourself" by Eminem, "Good Riddance" by Green Day and "(Sittin’ on) the Dock of the Bay" by Otis Redding.
Various celebrities attended the evening event, including the SmartLess hosts, Stern and his wife Beth, Jimmy Fallon and his wife Nancy, Jon Hamm and his wife Anna Osceola, John McEnroe, Kelly Bensimon and Rosanna Scotto.
After the show, attendees were invited to hang back and enjoy an offering of beverages and a BBQ-style cookout, which included burgers, hot dogs and vegetarian options. Jelly Roll mingled and took photos with fans during this portion of the night.
