Jefferson Parish’s 2024 Uncle Sam Jam lineup released
METAIRIE, La. (WGNO) — Jefferson Parish leaders announced who’s performing at the upcoming Uncle Sam Jam.
New Orleans plans to spiff up as host of next year’s Super Bowl
This year’s lineup is as follows:
Marine Forces Reserve Brass Band — 4 p.m.
Mad City — 5 p.m.
The Frontmen — 6:30 p.m.
Niko Moon — 8 p.m.
Salute to America Fireworks Show — 9:30 p.m.
Chapel Hart — 9:45 p.m.
“This is a great free family event to celebrate America. This event has become a tradition for so many of our families and friends who enjoy the concerts, food, and fireworks spectacular. We are always proud to host this event in our beautiful Lafreniere Park which continues to evolve into a gathering place for so many of our residents and guests,” said Jefferson Parish Councilwoman Arita Bohannan.
Fourth grade R&B choir gets into the groove in New Orleans
Last year’s Uncle Sam Jam featured Bret Michaels and attracted almost 30,000 festgoers to the Independence Day celebration.
The event will be held on July 3 at the Al Copeland & Meadow Stage at Lafreniere Park. Gates open at 3 p.m.
