Jamie Lee Curtis Sends a Bold Political Message That Concerns Fans: ‘Have You Been Hacked’
Jamie Lee Curtis left fans confused and concerned over her latest Instagram post.
The Oscar-winning actress shared an unexpected political message to her account on Wednesday, Oct. 2, by reposting a photo of Melania Trump and including a quote from the former First Lady about her stance on reproductive rights.
Not only did the nature of the quote from Melania take fans by surprise, but many of Jamie Lee's fans were also shocked to see that she would repost anything involving Melania, as the Halloween star has already made it abundantly clear that she doesn't support Melania's husband, Donald Trump.

In fact, Jamie Lee has already endorsed his opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris, in the upcoming presidential election.
But in her post on Wednesday, she quoted Melania in the caption, which read, "'We are all entitled to maintain a gratifying and dignified existence. This common-sense approach applies to a woman's natural right to make decisions about her own body and health.' Melania Trump."
The quote from Melania's new memoir, multiple outlets, including CNN, have reported.
Melania's unexpected stance on abortion rights left many users scratching their heads—and there was even more confusion about why Jamie Lee would repost it in the first place.
"You sharing a Melania Trump quote is wild," one of Jamie Lee's followers wrote to her in the comments, while someone else said, "I'm sad you'd post this."
"Really Jamie?" someone else asked.
Another person asked the Everything Everywhere All at Once actress, "Have you been hacked," which could explain the uncharacteristic post.
"Wait what’s happening here?? I have so many questions!!!" someone else chimed in.
But some of Jamie Lee's fans pointed out that she may have been sharing the post to highlight the "irony" and "hypocrisy" of Melania's statement, considering that her husband's abortion policies are much more conservative.
"Is this post meant to be satirical?" one user asked, while another defended Jamie Lee by writing, "This is sarcasm people."
Though some users still weren't having it.
"We can see the absurdity in this image, but can we please not give breath to her. Too little, too late." one of Jamie Lee's followers wrote.
"Why post this when it just creates confusion regarding the right candidate to support women’s rights??" another person asked.
