The oldest Jackson brother has four children, sons Siggy, River and Jaylen and daughter Brandi
Jackie Jackson, the eldest brother in one of the most famous families of all time, also has a close-knit family of his own.
The Jackson 5 singer, who is the oldest Jackson brother, is the father of four children: Sigmund Esco Jr., Brandi and twins River and Jaylen.
Jackie, born Sigmund Esco "Jackie" Jackson, first rose to fame in the late 1960s alongside his younger brothers with the Jackson 5, including Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and Michael Jackson. The group achieved critical acclaim throughout the '70s and '80s and were eventually inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997.
In addition to posting throwback photos with his brothers on social media, including tributes to his late brother Michael, Jackie often posts about his children online with heartfelt tributes and sweet glimpses of their family life.

Sigmund 'Siggy' Esco Jackson, Jr.
Sigmund Esco Jackson, Jr., who goes by Siggy, is Jackie’s oldest child born on June 29, 1977. He welcomed Siggy with his then-wife Enid Arden Spann, who died from a brain aneurysm in 1997.
Like his famous family, Siggy has gotten into the entertainment business performing as a hip-hop artist under the name Dealz. Together with his wife Toyia, he also created a production company called Undeniable Visions.
Through the company, he and Toyia have released various documentaries, including Black Business Women Cry Different. Siggy told Check the Rhymes that his inspiration to make the film partially stemmed from watching the challenges his aunts Janet and La Toya Jackson faced as Black women in the industry.
In addition to being a businessman, Siggy is also a family man. He married Toyia in September 2017, and together they have four children: three daughters and a son. Siggy and Toyia frequently share photos of their family on social media, and Toyia recently posted saying her kids are what keeps her going.
Like his father, Siggy has often paid tribute to his uncle Michael. In fact, Siggy was the first Jackson member to learn of Michael’s death in 2009 and revealed he was responsible for breaking the news to his family, including his dad and grandmother, Katherine.
In 2024, Siggy competed on the third season of Claim to Fame, using the name Dedrick. Though he accidentally let it slip that his last name is Jackson during the premiere, he stayed on the competition until week 5 when he was eliminated.
Brandi Jackson
Brandi Jackson is Jackie’s second child with Enid Arden Spann, who was born on Feb. 6, 1982. Jackie has often praised Brandi on social media, calling her “smart, caring and philanthropic” in a birthday tribute shared in 2020. He added that she was “an amazing role model” for his two younger sons.
She has appeared in a number of Jackson family projects, including the reality series The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty, per her IMDb, but primarily works as a photographer and videographer as stated on her Instagram bio.
Following the release of 2019’s Leaving Neverland, which detailed sexual abuse allegations against her uncle Michael Jackson, Brandi defended her late uncle in an interview with Billboard. She refuted Wade Robson's allegations of childhood sexual abuse against Michael by saying that she and Robson met as children on the set of Michael's "Black or White" video and dated for years after that, and did not believe Robson was being abused. (Robson’s attorney Vince William Finaldi wrote in an email to Billboard, “Ms. Jackson was not with Wade and Michael Jackson when the sexual abuse occurred, and as such, she has nothing relevant to say about the topic.”)
River and Jaylen Jackson
Jackie’s youngest children are his twins River and Jaylen, who he shares with wife Emily Besselink. The couple, who married in 2012, welcomed their sons on Dec. 31, 2013, and Jackie called them his “biggest New Year’s blessing.” On their 10th birthday, Jackie posted a heartfelt tribute on Instagram, noting that his children gave him the “greatest gift” ever: “a purpose.”
Jackie often posts about his famous family on social media, and has kept his brother Michael’s legacy alive by introducing his children to Michael's music. Over the years, he has taken his twins to various events honoring the King of Pop, including seeing Cirque du Soleil's Michael Jackson ONE and MJ: The Musical on Broadway.
