Jack Osbourne reportedly punches his soon-to-be ex-wife's new male model boyfriend

Jack Osbourneseemed to be having one of the friendlier celebrity divorces, but that has changed in a big way.

The Ozzy and Jack’s World Detour star, 32, and his wife, Lisa Osbourne, split in May after five years of marriage and three children. She quickly filed for divorce, but they were spotted out soon after with their children. He told TMZ at the time, “We’re in this for the long haul, might as well make it the best we can.”

What happened Monday doesn’t fall into the “make it the best we can” category. According to multiple reports, police were called to Lisa’s L.A.-area home after he allegedly punched her new boyfriend. According to TMZ, Jack went over late Monday night to talk with Lisa. Things escalated when Lisa’s new boyfriend, model Michael Gabel, showed up to “intervene.” Jack “hauled off and punched” Gabel, according to TMZ’s sources, before making a quick exit. Police were called, and a battery report was taken. However, Gabel didn’t want to press charges.

Yahoo Entertainment confirmed that the North Hollywood Division of the LAPD took “a report involving Mr. Osbourne” and it’s “an ongoing investigation.” Reps for Jack have not responded to multiple requests for comment. Meanwhile, we were told Sharon Osbourne would not be discussing the drama on Thursday’s The Talk.

Jack hasn’t let on that there has been drama, posting some cute pictures of his kids during a trip to a farmers’ market on social media Wednesday. TMZ seemed to offer a little insight into the spat, saying a source close to the situation said Jack was under the impression that he and Lisa were trying to work things out, so when her boyfriend showed up, he became upset.

Jack and Lisa’s relationship has been a real whirlwind. They welcomed their first daughter, Pearl, in April 2012, he was diagnosed with MS two months after that, and then they married in October of that year. In 2013, Lisa had a miscarriage in her second trimester. Their second daughter, Andy Rose, was born in June 2015, and the third, Minnie, made her debut in February of this year. They parted ways less than three months later.

It’s unclear when Lisa began dating Gabel, and he hasn’t addressed the drama on his social media either. (We reached out to him for a comment too.) For what it’s worth, he follows Lisa on Instagram, and Lisa follows him. Also FWIW, he posts a lot of shirtless photos.

Anyway, here’s hoping Jack and Lisa work through the drama — quickly. Friendly celebrity exes are all the rage these days, guys.
