In anticipation, The Daily American looked for some great local spots for family dining and suggests these 10 Somerset County dining establishments stack up with the best of them.
Whether you're craving pasta, a burger or a freshly made entree, there's a variety of locally owned restaurants in Somerset County that will fit the bill. Here's a list of 10 local restaurants to try during your next outing.
Davidsville
Fresh Harvest restaurant at Laurel View Village, 1600 Cambridge Drive (restaurant entrance is near the flagpole). 814-288-2880. Open from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. Lunch also available for takeout only from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Serves brunch on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a standard breakfast menu and a brunch menu that changes weekly.
