Hilarie Burton, Gabrielle Union, more wear black at home to support Time's Up movement
The Hollywood blackout isn’t just happening on the Golden Globes red carpet.
Stars are arriving at Sunday night’s ceremony dressed in black as a show of unity and power, but they aren’t the only ones donning the color in solidarity with the initiative known as Time’s Up. Celebrities not attending the award show are also posting pics from home dressed all in black to show their support of the movement.
The organized wardrobe effort is in support of the campaign to fight sexual harassment, assault, and inequality for women in all kinds of workplaces. More than 300 figures in the entertainment industry have signed on for Time’s Up, with big names such as Reese Witherspoon, America Ferrera, and Nicole Kidman among those joining the cause.
