Here's proof that Carrie Underwood's son is her biggest fan on the planet
If you aren’t in the mood for something adorable, just move along then because this is all kinds of sweet.
Sunday was a huge night in Carrie Underwood‘s household. It was Game 2 of the Nashville Predators vs. Winnipeg Jets in the Stanley Cup playoffs, which means Underwood’s husband, Mike Fisher, was on the ice. The songstress lent her vocal talents to the event, singing the national anthem. The pair brought their 3-year-old son, Isaiah, to the stadium with them for the big NHL event.

While Isaiah has seen his dad play quite a few times now — even retire and come out of retirement — their only kiddo “never really” gets to see “The Fighter” singer perform live. Yes, she sings to him when they’re together (remember their duet of “Jesus Loves Me”?), but her stage performances usually start after his bedtime, she explained on Instagram. So Nashville pal Ivey Childers recorded Isaiah’s reaction to hearing his mom sing “O say can you see” at the big game.
While mom delivered — fans dug it — Isaiah delivered too. He jumped up and down while wildly cheering on his famous mama:
He waved his arms in the air.
He clapped.
Our fave was when he clutched his hand to his chest like: Oh, isn’t my mama amazing.
In her post, Carrie wrote that when she was growing up, “I wanted nothing more than to make my parents proud of me.” Today, “as a mother, I want to make my child proud.” Well, he clearly was.
So much attention has been paid to Underwood and her facial injury over the last six months. But one of her biggest worries about the accident was that her scars would be upsetting to her son. “For a while, I was worried he would be scared of me, but now if I put makeup on, he’s like, ‘Mommy, your boo-boo’s all gone!’”
He’s clearly her biggest fan.
