Helen Welch brings 'First Ladies of Song' to the Opera House on May 3

CHEBOYGAN — Helen Welch will return with her band to the Cheboygan Opera House stage at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 3.

Welch last performed at the Opera House in December 2022, where she received rave reviews for her "Carpenters Christmas" show. This time she is back with "First Ladies of Song," featuring hits by some of the great women past and present of American Popular music, including Judy Garland, Aretha Franklin, Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, Dolly Parton, Barbra Streisand, Nina Simone and Joni Mitchell.

This event will include a cash bar with beer and wine service.

Tickets are $25-40 for adults, with a $5 discount for veterans, and $10 for students. Tickets are on sale at theoperahouse.org/tickets, by phone at (231) 627-5841 and at the Box Office window.
