This Harry Potter Actor Said Why They Won't Let Their Kids Enter the ‘Devastating’ World of Child Acting
While we already know Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint are happy parents, did you know there are a lot of other Harry Potter alums who are parents? For example, Jessie Cave, who played Lavender Brown, is a mom of four and just gave super-rare details about her kiddos’ lives.
The actress-turned-comedian-and-author recently told Metro how she both does and doesn’t want her kids to enter the entertainment industry.

“The stage mum in me, secretly yes of course. I want my children to be stars,’ she laughed, later saying her real answer. “But there is no money in the world that could be paid to let them do it. No chance in hell would they do a job until they are fully fledged adults.”
“It just stops everything, you’re frozen in time from when you got that first job. I’ve worked with enough child actors and had enough experience in the industry to see how devastating it can be for your development, and how toxic the industry can be,” she added. “That doesn’t mean I don’t send them to singing and dance lessons. But there is just no way.”
For those who don’t know, Cave and comedian Alfie Brown have been in a relationship since 2014, but briefly broke up from 2016 to 2018.
They have since reconciled. Also, the pair have welcomed four children together named Donnie, born on Oct 2014, Margot, born on July 2016, Abraham Benjamin, born on Oct 2020, and Becker, born on March 2022.
