Gwyneth Paltrow and Brad Falchuk Enjoy Date Night While Supporting Pal Kate Hudson at Hamptons Concert
Paltrow, Jeremy Piven and more stars stepped out for Hudson's Montauk show, where she performed songs from her new album 'Glorious'
Kate Hudson's concert was the hottest ticket in the Hamptons this weekend.
On Saturday, July 13, the stars came out to play — and to support Hudson, who performed a live show at the Surf Lodge in Montauk following the release of her debut album Glorious earlier this year.
"Gwyneth Paltrow came there to support her friend, alongside her husband Brad Falchuk," a source tells PEOPLE of the Goop founder, who looked chic in a black tank with a plunging V-neck and black Ray-Ban Wayfarers.
"Jane Krakowski also rolled up in a red vintage Mercedes with her friends Andrew Saffir and Daniel Benedict and [her boyfriend] David Rockwell."
After Hudson's performance, artist Anderson .Paak, who was also at the show, transformed into his alter-ego DJ Pee .Wee for a set.
"He was mixing vinyl while Maurice 'Mobetta' Brown was on the trumpet," the source continues, noting that actor Jeremy Piven was also in attendance and that the crowd was full of energy.

The night before her Surf Lodge show, Hudson also played for a packed crowd — including her fiancé, musician Danny Fujikawa — at Webster Hall in New York City. During her set, Hudson performed tracks off of her debut album Glorious, including "Talk About Love," as well as some classic covers like the Rolling Stones' "Beast of Burden" and Fleetwood Mac's "Gypsy."
Ahead of the May 17 release of Glorious, the actress opened up in a PEOPLE cover story about finally pursuing her musical passions.
“Music was my first love,” she said at the time. “It’s really a lifetime in the making.”
She also credited her first major acting role — playing Penny Lane in writer-director Cameron Crowe’s 2000 drama Almost Famous — with furthering her love of music.
“I think [Crowe] connected with the fact that I loved music and saw that in me," she said. "I was 19, and he just filled me with all this great music that I’d never heard. That was the beginning of everything for me.”
Hudson has also had several longterm relationships musicians: Black Crowes singer Chris Robinson, with whom she shares son Ryder, 20; Muse frontman Matthew Bellamy, with whom she shares son Bingham, 13; and Fujikawa, with whom she shares 5-year-old daughter Rani Rose.

She says she finally decided to pursue her passion during COVID lockdown.
“I was like, ‘If I don’t do this, it’ll be a great regret,’ ” she said. “Sticking to the status quo is not how I’ve ever lived my life. I’ve always been fearless in the decisions I’ve made, whether it is in relationships or career, but this was the one thing that I was so afraid of. It’s like I switched something in my brain, and I was like, ‘I’m just going to do it. F--- it.’”
