Goldenvoice announces side festival to be held at Palm Springs Surf Club during Coachella
There's a big party planned during both weekends of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and this one doesn't require an exclusive invitation from social media influencers or brand ambassadors.
Los Angeles promoter Goldenvoice is taking over the Palm Springs Surf Club April 13-14 and April 20-21. The event, dubbed the Goldenvoice Surf Club, will feature performances by electronic dance music and alt pop artists on the Coachella lineup such as Bicep, Jungle, Neil Frances and more.
How to get tickets
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday. Single-day general admission passes are $40 and a weekend pass starts at $75. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit gvsurfclub.com

Four years after the $80 million-plus Palm Springs Surf Club was announced on the former site Wet N’ Wild , the highly anticipated grand opening happened on New Year's Day.
Ten days later, the club announced it was shutting down due to "technical issues" related to its wave-generating system. The Palm Springs Surf Club has not announced a reopening date but its on-site restaurant Amala remains open.
The much-hyped focal point of the facility is a pool that can accommodate 25 surfers on its artificial waves and can be individually customized for varying skill levels. Waves range from 2 to 7 feet.
“The Palm Springs Surf Club has something for everyone,” club developer Tim O’Byrne told The Desert Sun. “Surfing is a mesmerizing sport to watch, and at PSSC, the experience of observing surfers ride world-class waves against the stunning backdrop of the Palm Springs mountains is unparalleled.”
