Who Is Glenn Howerton's Wife? All About Jill Latiano
Glenn Howerton and his wife married in 2009
If there’s one thing Glenn Howerton is known for, it’s giving it his all — as an actor, father and husband to actress Jill Latiano.
Fans of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia know of Howerton as Dennis Reynolds, the co-owner of Paddy’s Pub. Still, he’s taken on several other characters throughout his career, including recurring roles on The Cleveland Show and The Mindy Project.
Despite his long list of accomplishments, Howerton has shared that It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia has a special place in his heart. Not only was he an executive producer, director and writer for the show, but in 2009, he and Latiano worked together during an episode on season 5.
So who is Glenn Howerton’s wife? Here’s everything to know about Jill Latiano and her relationship with the fellow actor.
Latiano began her career as a dancer
While Latiano is known for her acting skills, she began her career as a dancer for the New York Knicks in 1999.
Latiano originally danced competitively — long before joining the Knicks. In 2022, Latiano posted a throwback photo compilation on Instagram celebrating International Dance Day.
The slideshow began with a black-and-white snapshot of a young Latiano in ballet flats and ended with a group shot of three happy tweens (including Taryn Manning) posing with a trophy in hand.
She made her acting debut on an episode of Sex and the City
In 2004, Latiano made her acting debut as “Party Girl #2” on the “Let There Be Light” episode of HBO’ Sex and the City.
Since then, she’s guest starred in various television shows, including Rescue Me, CSI: NY and Drake & Josh. She also made an appearance in Epic Movie and Lower Learning.
Howerton and Latiano married in 2009
Howerton and Latiano have been inseparable since 2007. The couple wed on Sept. 8, 2009, in Rancho Las Lomas, Southern California. The theme of the wedding was “Lucky in Love.”
“Glenn and I are always telling each other how lucky we feel to have found each other ... so that is sort of how it [the theme] came about,” Latiano told Green Wedding Shoes.
She continued, “It was carried throughout the wedding from the cupcakes, to the backdrop of the photo booth, to the table names which were all things pertaining to good fortune and/or luck.”
She played Howerton’s love interest in It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia
In episode 10 ("The D.E.N.N.I.S. System") of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’s fifth season, Latiano played Howerton’s love interest, Caylee.
In 2016, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia dedicated its eighth episode of season 12 to her father, Bob Latiano, who died that year.
She’s a mom of two
On Sept. 12, 2011, the couple welcomed their first child, Miles Robert. Howerton announced the news during an appearance on Conan, where he admitted that the baby’s name was a last-minute decision.
“My wife and I thought it would be a good idea to wait to see the baby first before we actually decided what his name would be ... get a sense of the guy,” he said. “Then we saw him and he looked like a tiny little baby alien grandpa creature and I was like, ‘I’m not getting any information from this — at all.' "
In 2014, Howerton and Latiano surprised the public with the birth of their second son, Isley Ray — named after the Isley Brothers.
“We just had another kid. We really didn’t announce it,” Howerton told PEOPLE.
“It’s off the grid!” Latiano quipped.
She’s an activist
Latiano uses social media as a platform for change. She often posts Instagram photos and posts encouraging people to vote and donate to various causes. In 2013, Latiano produced the documentary film GMO OMG.
Throughout the film, director and filmmaker Jeremy Seifert travels across the globe to uncover the truth behind GMOs and how they affect our health and the planet.
“My personal wish is that our film awakens the masses to the truth about their food and inspires them to demand transparency from the corporations that are feeding us and that control the future of agriculture,” Latiano said in an interview with The Chalkboard Mag.
She added, “We as a society need to demand that agriculture systems be put in place in our country that are sustainable as well as beneficial to our environment and our people.”
She and Howerton are best friends
Activism isn’t the only thing Latiano uses her social media channels for — she often shares posts of appreciation for her husband, and he does the same for her.
“My advice? Marry your best friend,” Howerton captioned an Instagram post in 2020. “Bonus points if your best friend happens to be a stone-cold babe. Happy 11th Anniversary to this incredible lady @jill_howerton. I can’t imagine being more in love with another human being.”
