Gigi Hadid Responds to Claims She Isn't Here for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce

Gigi Hadid has spoken out against claims that she isn't here for her friend Taylor Swift's relationship with Travis Kelce. Commenting on a Perez Hilton post on Instagram, Gigi wrote "I'm a couple days late to this tag. But didn’t the press try this last week w Selena? Let it be.. we are all over the moon for our girl. Period.”

The claims that Gigi has concerns about Taylor and Travis seem to stem from a source who spoke to Us Weekly and said “One of the reasons Gigi hasn’t attended any of Travis’ games is because she doesn’t agree with the way Taylor has been acting with [him]... She feels like Taylor is doing too much, too soon."

As for Gigi's Selena mention, that's seemingly a reference to a source telling Page Six that “Selena thinks Taylor going to games and galavanting through New York immediately after just meeting Travis is something that is very unlike her. Historically, Taylor’s always been super private about everything, and now with this [relationship], she’s so open about it that it’s just very odd for Selena.” This insider added, “Selena just doesn’t want to be part of the media frenzy because it’s really chaotic.”

Obviously, both these sources are incorrect based on Gigi's comment! And it's worth noting that Taylor's friends—including Gigi and Selena have been demonstrably supportive. Ya know, like very publicly attending dinner with Taylor as well as several wives of Chiefs players—including Brittany Mahomes!
