George Strait, Chris Stapleton to headline Highmark Stadium in June
BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — One of the best-selling musical acts of all time is coming to Highmark Stadium in June.
George Strait, one of the best-selling acts of all time who is also a Grammy award winner and a country music hall of famer, will perform at Highmark Stadium on June 14 with Chris Stapleton and Parker McCollum.
Strait is third to only Elvis and The Beatles with the most gold and platinum albums in music history. In June 2024 he broke the U.S. concert attendance record by performing in front of a crowd of 110,905 at Kyle Field at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.
Stapleton has won 10 Grammy awards and is known for his top songs “Tennessee Whiskey,” “You Should Probably Leave” and “White Horse.” He put out his most recent album in 2023.
McCollum got his first Country Music Association Award nomination in 2022.
The June show will be the first concert at Highmark Stadium since Luke Combs played a pair of shows at the stadium in April 2024. Tickets for June’s show will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Feb. 21 and can be purchased here.
