George Clooney's Latest Appearance Proved His Feud With Donald Trump Is Alive & Well
Like many celebrities out there, George Clooney has used his platform to speak his mind and fight for the causes he holds dear. In June, for instance, Clooney wrote an op-ed for The New York Times urging President Biden to step down for the sake of the democratic party. In doing so, he started a full-fledged feud with none other than Donald Trump.
Their feud only continued when Trump went to social media to go after the Oscar winner after the op-ed circulated online.

“So now fake movie actor George Clooney, who never came close to making a great movie, is getting into the act,” Trump posted on Truth Social, per The Hollywood Reporter. “He’s turned on Crooked Joe like the rats they both are. What does Clooney know about anything??”
“Clooney should get out of politics and go back to television,” Trump continued in his post. “Movies never really worked for him!!!”
And, in a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Clooney proved he’s not bothered with Trump’s remarks. In fact, he went after the former President too.
“I will if he does,” Clooney said, referring to his line of leaving politics. “That’s a trade-off I’d do.” In addition to Kimmel, the audience laughed and applauded at Clooney’s response. Looks like his and Trump’s feud won’t be ending anytime soon!
As a reminder, Clooney’s op-ed had some choice words about Trump and his campaign. “We don’t anoint leaders or fall sway to a cult of personality; we vote for a president,” he wrote. “We can easily foresee a group of several strong Democrats stepping forward to stand and tell us why they’re best qualified to lead this country and take on some of the deeply concerning trends we’re seeing from the revenge tour that Donald Trump calls a presidential campaign.”
Luckily, that’s exactly what the democratic party has been doing since Kamala Harris became the new presidential nominee. Looks like Clooney’s words really did ruffle some political feathers!
