The Front Room – Brandy Norwood and Kathryn Hunter Face off in New Trailer

Our first look at the debut feature of Max and Sam Eggers was released in June when the official trailer for The Front Room landed and introduced us to Brandy Norwood as Belinda and her mother-in-law, Solange, played by Kathryn Hunter.

The trailer did an excellent job of setting the tone for what to expect without giving too much away, but now we have a thrilling new look at the film that dives a little deeper into the dynamic between Belinda and Solange.

Coming to theaters on September 6, The Front Room is based on the haunting short story from The Woman in Black's Susan Hill and follows the newly-pregnant Belinda after her mother-in-law, Solange, moves in.

Her season of bliss comes to an end when everything goes downhill as Solange tries to sink her claws into the child, and Belinda's motherly instinct leads her to believe she has to draw the line somewhere.

This new preview dials up the intensity as the fractured relationship between Belinda and Solange comes to a head, causing tensions to rise and pleasantries to drop.
