'Friends' fans panic after Netflix says show is leaving in 2020: 'The one where everyone cancels their membership'
Netflix is officially saying goodbye to Friends after announcing that all 10 seasons of the show will be leaving the streaming platform in early 2020 to live on WarnerMedia’s new streaming service HBO Max. And with it just might be some Netflix members who are threatening to no longer pay for the service without the beloved series on it.
“The One Where We Have To Say Goodbye,” Netflix US wrote on its social media feeds, where fans immediately started to freak out.
Some even shot back at the punny post writing, “The one where everyone cancels their membership.” Just off the heels of the announcement that The Office will be leaving in 2021, people seem serious about walking away from Netflix.

Many are also upset about having gone through similar emotional turmoil before when Netflix announced that Friends would be leaving in January 2019, but ultimately paid to keep it on the platform after subscribers expressed major upset.
Others aren’t as heartbroken about the loss. Instead, they’re hoping that the omission will allow for Netflix to lower their prices or to create a larger range of original content.
that's fine just lower your price
