‘Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man’: Disney+ Drops Trailer for Webslinger’s New Animated Series
While fans await the delayed third installment of the Spider-Verse franchise and fourth film in the Tom Holland-starring movies, Disney+ will drop yet another Spider-Man series — Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man — next month.
On Sunday, Marvel Animation shared the new trailer for the series, which takes place in an alternate universe from the live-action films, one in which high-school student Peter Parker is mentored by Norman Osborn (voiced by Colman Domingo, and the villain known as Green Goblin in the other timelines) and not Tony Stark.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man does have some ties to the MCU movies: Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio will voice-reprise the roles of Daredevil and Kingpin, respectively, alongside a voice cast that includes Hudson Thames (Peter Parker), Hugh Dancy (Dr. Octopus), Kari Wahlgren (Aunt May) and Paul F. Tompkins (the villain The Wizard).
The 10-episode first season “follows Peter Parker on his way to becoming a hero, with a journey unlike we’ve ever seen and a style that celebrates the character’s early comic book roots,” Disney+ said of the show in a synopsis.
Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man swings onto the streaming service on January 29, 2025.
