The Fantastic Four Script Is ‘Great,’ Galactus Actor Gushes
Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four reboot recently received some major praise from Ralph Ineson, who is set to portray Galactus in the upcoming superhero movie.
In an interview with The Movie Dweeb, Ineson opened up about being cast in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, saying, “I’m just excited to be part of this absolutely insane huge world. It’s Galactus. I can’t say much, but it’s Galactus. There’s a lot to be excited about.”
What did Ralph Ineson say about The Fantastic Four script?
While Ineson was wary of accidentally letting a spoiler slip, he did share his thoughts on The Fantastic Four script, which was written by Josh Friedman, who was brought in to rewrite the script originally written by Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer.
“It’s great, and I’m not someone who knows all the lore of Marvel, but my son, he’s an expert. He’s 25, so he’s been schooling me for the last couple of months, always this, or this, no this person’s not connected to this, so he’s been teaching me all that,” Ineson said to The Movie Dweeb. “And yeah, I mean I loved it when I got the part, and I read the script, and I was like, that’s cool as fuck, and now the more I’ve understood about the universe and the way it all fits together. I’m like yeah, that’s really cool as fuck.”

Natasha Lyonne, John Malkovich, and Paul Walter Hauser have also been cast in the MCU movie, although their roles remain undisclosed at this time.
The Fantastic Four will be directed by Matt Shakman, who previously helmed all nine episodes of Marvel’s 2021 limited series, WandaVision. Production is expected to begin this July at Pinewood Studios in London. The Fantastic Four is scheduled to hit theaters on July 25, 2025, as part of Phase 6 of the MCU.
