Fans Are 'a Little Scared' After Seeing Zendaya's 2024 Met Gala Look
Zendaya
Zendaya is a Met Gala pro—and her look for the high-profile event this year is a grand slam.
The Challengers actress pulled out all the stops for fashion's biggest night at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday, May 6, after having not attended the event in five years.
Dressed right on theme in a one shoulder blue, green and black voluminous gown featuring metallic tulle, which was pulled together by her only stylist, Law Roach, the Marvel star perfectly channeled the 2024 Met Gala's theme, "The Garden of Time."
In addition to her goth-inspired ensemble, the 27-year-old Euphoria actress donned floral, plants, fruit, and bird nature-themed accessories and styled her hair in a low bun.
Though Zendaya hit the theme out of the park, fans on social media admitted the dark makeup look was a bit shocking.
"I'm a little scared," one wrote, as another said, "Oh Zendaya never disappoints."
"OH SHE ATE," a third proclaimed, obviously showing they're a fan of the ensemble.
The former Disney Channel star is no stranger to the annual function, as she made her debut back in 2015. This year, she took it up a notch as a cohost of the highly anticipated soiree, alongside Jennifer Lopez, Chris Hemsworth, and Bad Bunny, who were also tapped for the position.

In the past, she has worn everything from a high-low Fausto Puglisi dress to a shimmering gold Michael Kors look to a floral print ball gown by Dolce & Gabbana.
She even wore a light-up Cinderella-inspired gown by Tommy Hilfiger for the 2019 Met Gala. Like we said, Zendaya knows what she's doing when it comes to working a red carpet—or red staircase, in this case.
And she certainly isn't gate-keeping her fashion wisdom. During a January 2023 interview with W Magazine, Zendaya's on-screen sister Storm Reid, who plays Gia Bennett on HBO's Euphoria, revealed that Tom Holland's girlfriend has given her sound style advice over the years.
"Be comfortable, be you," she said of the fashion advice passed down from Zendaya. "The clothes don’t wear you—you wear the clothes."
