Fans Call Out All the Major Changes Happening on Taylor Swift's Eras Tour
Taylor Swift
Just when fans thought Taylor Swift couldn't possibly have any more surprises up her sleeve, the music superstar once again sent the Swifties into a full-on frenzy.
The Grammy winner kicked off the European leg of The Eras Tour in Paris, France, on Thursday, May 9, and fans are "Down Bad" over the number of changes that were made to the show since the last time she performed in Singapore back in March.
Not only has it been two months since she last hit the stage, but it's also the first show since Swift, 34, released her 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, in April, which fans have been suspecting would cause some changes at the history-making Eras Tour—and it appears they were right.
Here are all the changes Swift has made to the Eras Tour in Paris so far.
Lover
Swift still opened the show with her Lover era, coming out to her track "Miss America & the Heartbreak Prince," but there was a noticeable change in the opening sequence before she hit the stage.
Prior to breaking into the song, the sound effect that previously named all 10 of Swift's albums was altered to include The Tortured Poets Department.

It even included one of the lyrics from the TTPD track "The Alchemy," where Swift sings, "What if I told you I'm back?"

The Lover set also featured a brand-new outfit, as Swift stepped out in a bright orange and pink bodysuit with a matching orange suit jacket that she slipped on before performing "The Man."

The rest of the set proceeded as usual before it was cut short with the omission of "The Archer," which fans had already suspected since it was initially cut from the first version of the Eras Tour concert film.
Fearless
Next up was Fearless, where Swift once again came out in a never-before-seen outfit, made up of silver, black and gold tassels, paired with knee-high black boots.

Other than the new 'fit, the Fearless set didn't have any other changes.
Red
The Red era threw fans for a loop since it was moved much earlier in the show than previously. (Red used to be the 6th-era Swift plays, but has now been moved up to #3.)
Swift played all of the normal songs from this era, however, she did have a new outfit. The white graphic T-shirt with various phrases that she rocks during the performance of "22" was switched out for a new one that read "This is not Taylor's Version."

Speak Now
The next era was Speak Now, which had a whole new intro, with dancers coming out to put on a stunning performance before the start of "Enchanted." The screen in the background also played new images that hadn't been seen before.

Plus, Swift was wearing yet another brand new outfit, looking gorgeous in a sparkly pale purple-pink ballroom gown.
Reputation
Reputation is the only era that Swift didn't appear to make any changes to, as she was wearing the same outfit (which is the only Reputation outfit that has existed on the Eras Tour since it started in 2022).
Folklore and Evermore
In perhaps one of the biggest shocks of the show, Swift decided to combine her two "sister albums" folklore and evermore into one set. (Swift suggested calling the new set "folkmore" or "everlore.")
This set, all performed in a new, flowy yellow dress, featured an assorted mix of songs from both albums: starting with "cardigan" and ending with "willow."
These eras were perhaps cut down the most, as some fan favorites, including "tolerate it," "the 1," "the last great american dynasty," and "'tis the damn season" were nixed from the setlist.

1989
The 1989 set was still the same as far as music goes, but Swift was notably wearing a totally new outfit.

Branching off from the monochromatic two-piece sets she normally wears for this part of the show, she came out on Thursday in a new outfit made up of a sparkly pink top and blue skirt. She even had mismatched shoes to compliment the two-tone theme.

Normally, after the 1989 set, Swift would go straight into the acoustic part of the show, where she plays two surprise songs. But for this show she exited the next stage to prepare for the next set, which was none other than The Tortured Poets Department.
The Tortured Poets Department
The all-new TTPD set marked the first-ever live performance of the new album, which means everything about it was fresh to the audience.
Swift had two different outfits for this set, first coming out in a white dress covered in black script and later changing into a sparkly black two-piece set made up of a bralette and booty shorts.

She performed seven songs from the new album: "But Daddy I Love Him," "So High School," "Whose Afraid of Little Old Me," "Down Bad," "Fortnight," "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived" and "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart."

Midnights
Still closing out the show with Midnights, Swift kept the setlist the same, though she did debut another new bodysuit, a sparkly blue one with cutouts along the torso.
