Fans are making a bold comparison between the couplings of athlete Travis Kelce and musician Taylor Swift and actors Martin Short and Meryl Streep.

While representatives for the latter have all denied the romance rumors that began sweeping the net around the new year, sightings of the two continue to fuel speculation, and after their latest apparent date night, where the two were spotted dining at Giorgio Baldi as seen in photos published on Instagram by celebrity gossip account Deax Moi, some fans are spotting similarities between America's Royal Couple and the two Only Murders in the Building stars.

"they’re kinda tayvis for people who don’t care about sports," one person joked, sharing snaps of Streep behind the wheel with Short in the passenger seat and another where he smiles at paparazzi while escorting her down the sidewalk.

Another agreed that Short's smile for the "paps" was "very Travis coded," while a third declared, "no literally they are my tayvis i feel giddy looking at them."

"Like pretty sure trav wore the same shirt as Meryl," another joked, perhaps comparing the Oscar winner's blue button-up, which was covered with cranes or a similarly long-legged bird, with the blue button-up Kelce recently wore that was covered in figures that some fans felt were in inappropriately compromising positions.

Another took one of the abbreviations for Taylor and Travis, TNT—which the tight end has had included on custom jewelry for the singer—and created one for the more seasoned (potential) couple: "If Taylor and Travis are TNT, then Martin and Meryl = M&M. I don’t make the rules," they tweeted.

For now, the two maintain that they're just friends, but it seems clear that if they come out as an official couple, the potential is there for them to break the internet, just like their sporty counterparts.
