Fallout Season 2 Potential Filming Location Revealed
Fallout has only just hit Prime Video, but news has already dropped about its second season.
According to Variety, the post-apocalyptic video game adaptation was offered a $25 million tax credit to film in California for season 2. That’s a massive hint Amazon is getting ready to make a follow-up.
The tax credit was reportedly offered by the California Film Commission. It’s a common practice used to entice productions that would've otherwise filmed in a different location.
However, Fallout season 2 is not set in stone. Prime Video's own Citadel was also given a tax credit to the tune of $25 million, but the show was canceled. Also, Fallout season 2 has yet to be officially announced or even acknowledged by Amazon.
At a reported $153 million, Fallout has one of the largest budgets of any Prime Video show of recent times. The majority of season one was filmed in New York, with some additional filming in Utah.
As for the launch of season 1? Fallout gets a new release date, hitting Prime Video a day early.
