‘Everybody’s Live With John Mulaney’ Premiere to Feature Joan Baez, Cypress Hill, More
John Mulaney is kicking off his 12-week stint as a late-night host on Netflix with guests Michael Keaton, Joan Baez, Fred Armisen, personal finance columnist Jessica Roy, and performers Cypress Hill. Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney debuts Wednesday, March 12 at 10 p.m. ET, with a new episode arriving each Wednesday through the run. Mulaney will act as the host, co-showrunner, and executive producer through Multiple Camera Productions.
Everybody’s Live follows Everybody’s in L.A, a six-episode live series of Mulaney’s that ran last spring and included guests Sarah Silverman, David Letterman, Bill Hader, and others. Rolling Stone TV critic Alan Sepinwall described it as “chaotic-bordering-on-surreal.” “Having lots of guests onstage at once (like [Johnny] Carson used to, and like Graham Norton still does) created a livelier and more spontaneous atmosphere than when a guest is one-on-one with a host, going through the anecdote they discussed with a segment producer earlier in the day,” wrote Sepinwall.

“We will be live globally with no delay. We will never be relevant. We will never be your source for news. We will always be reckless. Netflix will always provide us with data that we will ignore,” Mulaney said of Everybody’s Live after the show’s premiere date was revealed to press at Next on Netflix.
Mulaney has released several comedy specials with the streamer, including 2023’s Baby J, 2018’s Kid Gorgeous at Radio City, and 2015’s Comeback Kid. He also had the variety special John Mulaney and the Sack Lunch Bunch on Netflix in 2019.
