The Enquirer has (finally) joined TikTok. Here are some of our favorite videos so far
It's almost the end of 2022, and (like seemingly everyone else in the world) we're finally up to speed.
We have joined TikTok.
It's the latest social media platform where The Enquirer has a presence. But don't worry, our other social media platforms, like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, are staying active, and we're also experimenting with Instagram Reels.
Why TikTok? It's the fastest-growing social media platform in 2022, with over a billion users worldwide. The app is more than just dancing videos: According to the most recent data from the Pew Research Center, 33% of U.S. users say they regularly get their news from the platform, up from 22% in 2020.
We're joining the ranks of other newspapers posting on TikTok, including our sister papers, the Columbus Dispatch, Detroit Free Press and Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, among others.
So, what kinds of videos do we post? Really, a little bit of everything. Our goal is to post something every day, so you can expect a variety of content, from explainers on topics like Sweetest Day or Jeffrey Dahmer's connections to Ohio, to election videos, food taste tests and things to do around Greater Cincinnati.
Here are just a few examples of what we've posted so far, and we're just getting started.
In the meantime, we would love for you to join us. You can find us on TikTok @CincyEnquirer. Happy scrolling!
