It’s the end of an era for Childish Gambino. Here are photos from his concert in Raleigh
Donald Glover is closing the chapter on his musical persona, the wildly innovative Childish Gambino.
But he’s not leaving his Gambino alter ego just yet. There’s a new album, “Bando Stone and the New World,” (with an upcoming companion film) and a world tour that takes him to Raleigh’s PNC Arena.
The tour launched earlier this month in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and will make its way through North America before jumping to Europe this fall and Australia in early 2025.
In a review of his latest album, Variety calls it one of the “top albums of the year.”
“It’s not only his best and most far-reaching musical project to date, with a brain-busting combination of musical styles and guests ranging from singers Jorja Smith and Amaarae to rappers Flo Milli and Yeat to alt-rock virtuosos Khruangbin,” Variety reports.
Here are photos from his North Carolina stop Friday night.
