Emmy Night Was Family Night for Liev Schreiber, Sofia Vergara, and Other TV Star Parents

Take Your Daughters and Sons to Work Day is so much cooler when your parent is a TV star.

Several nominees brought their kids as their dates to Sunday’s Emmy Awards, making lifetime memories for them — and cute photo ops for us to enjoy. While most kids get to tag along to their parents’ boring 9-to-5 gigs, these kids got glam, walked the red carpet, and rubbed elbows with other celebrities. Though the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches handed out during the show may have remind them of the less-glamorous parts of their daily lives — at school and so on.

Liev Schreiber’s lady love Naomi Watts sat out the awards show, so the Ray Donovan star brought his 9-year-old son, Alexander (who goes by Sasha), to the event.

The NYC-based pair made a whole weekend of it, soaking up the sun, adorably getting ready together, and even (jokingly) stealing an Emmy when dad didn’t win.

Watts shared a photo of the guys in their matching tuxes, writing, “Dapper duo here,” along with hashtags including “#twinning,” “#crushingit,” and “#proudbeyondwords.”

Sofia Vergara brings her pride and joy, son Manolo Gonzalez Vergara, everywhere, so the Emmys were no big deal for the 24-year-old.

He gladly stepped in for the Modern Family star’s typical plus-one, hubby Joe Manganiello. But Sofia had a lot of dates last night. As TV’s highest-paid actress, she can bring whoever the heck she wants.

Vergara’s show, Modern Family, lost to Veep, but she’s the kinda person who never has a bad time — especially when Manolo’s around.

Apparently bringing your kid wasn’t a sure-thing lucky charm because Anthony Anderson did as well and he didn’t win either. The Black-ish actor’s “date night” was with his 20-year-old daughter, Kyra Anderson. “I love my babygirl!” he wrote on Instagram.

It was a true family affair for Anderson, who also brought his mom.

Presenter Larry David enlisted his 22-year-old daughter, Cazzie, to be his guest. She’s got some new experience on the red carpet lately because she’s dating Saturday Night Live’s Pete Davidson.

“Emmeeez,” is how she captioned a photo of her and her pops on the way to the big show.

Brad Falchuk will never hit the red carpet with his girlfriend, Gwyneth Paltrow — as we know, that’s not her thing. So he brought another beauty, his daughter Isabella.

Falchuk was the luckiest of the lot. He produced The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story — so he brought home his first Emmy.
